Mr. Chomat joined Rialto in 2017 and currently serves as Chief Accounting Officer overseeing Accounting and Financial Reporting. He leads all aspects of Rialto’s financial and business controls, including partnership and corporate accounting and reporting, technical accounting research and maintaining internal controls.

Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Chomat was the Controller at NBC Universal Telemundo Enterprises from 2014-2017, where he led the accounting operations and preparation of all strategic planning and forecasting. Prior to Telemundo, Mr. Chomat worked for Ernest & Young LLP and for Alvarez & Marsal LLC, where he led financial and accounting due diligence teams on behalf of private equity clients. Mr. Chomat started his career in Assurance and Business Advisory performing external audits, with a specialization in SEC reporting companies, including quarterly and annual financial reporting. Mr. Chomat also has extensive experience with SEC registrations, including initial public offerings, debt and equity offerings and due diligence reviews of potential acquisitions.

Mr. Chomat graduated from the University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Childers joined Rialto in 2020 as the Company’s Treasurer with oversight of treasury operations, cash and debt management, corporate capital structure, insurance risk management, accounts payable, travel and expense management and cash processing.

Prior to joining Rialto, from 2018 to 2020, Mr. Childers was Vice President, Treasury at WellCare, and from 2012 to 2018, he was Vice President, Assistant Treasurer at Tech Data Corporation. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2012, Mr. Childers held management positions in corporate finance, investments, treasury and investor relations at The St. Joe Company during the diversified company’s period of restructurings and growth, most recently serving as Treasurer and Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations.

Mr. Childers received a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida and is a member of the Florida Institute of CFOs.

Mr. Carlson joined Rialto in 2010 and currently serves as a Director in the Credit Investment Management group. He is primarily responsible for the sourcing, structuring and execution of investments across Rialto’s platform including CMBS securities, whole loans, b-notes, mezzanine loans, distressed debt, preferred equity and equity.

Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Carlson worked at Allianz Global Investors in the Mutual Funds group.

Mr. Carlson received a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of Denver and is a CFA Charterholder.

Mr. Burstyn joined Rialto in 2013 and currently serves as a Director of Asset Management. He is primarily responsible for overseeing Rialto’s floating rate loans, Mezzanine loans, B-Notes, and preferred equity investments.

Mr. Burstyn graduated from the University of Miami with a B.B.A. in Finance.

Mr. Berger joined Rialto in 2020 and is a Managing Director in the Credit Investment Management group. He is primarily responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of commercial real estate debt investments with a focus on transitional senior lending, subordinate debt, and special situations.

Prior to Rialto, Mr. Berger was a founding member of Seven Valleys Capital, the lending arm of a single-family office in New York and Resource Capital Corporation, a publicly traded mortgage REIT.

He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College.

Mr. Bachkosky joined Rialto in 2010 and currently serves as Head of Special Situations of Rialto’s Investment Management credit business, which includes CMBS and mezzanine investing. Mr. Bachkosky has been vital in sourcing, underwriting, closing, and overseeing Rialto’s CMBS investments, which have encompassed acquiring interests in securities with almost $60 billion in underlying loans. He has also had a key role in structuring and making attractive mezzanine and preferred equity investments. Through innovative and unique structuring, Mr. Bachkosky has been key in Rialto’s involvement with the NPL securitization market, issuing over $800 million of notes in its seven NPL securitizations to date.

Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Bachkosky held various roles in finance and consulting where he focused on financial and operational restructuring. In 2009, Mr. Bachkosky served as a Summer Associate at Lazard Frères where he worked on the restructuring and eventual sale of a $2 billion global automotive supply company. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Bachkosky served as a consultant with The Brooks Group. He also worked as an Associate Consultant at Accenture from 2003 to 2005.

Mr. Bachkosky received an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Bacher joined Rialto in 2013 and currently oversees Rialto’s Portfolio Management team, which analyzes performance of Rialto’s credit and commercial real estate funds, separate accounts, and investments. In addition, Mr. Bacher is involved in the development of new business initiatives and corporate forecasting and supports the firm’s capital raising efforts.

Prior to Rialto, Mr. Bacher worked for UBP Asset Management (Switzerland) in their fund of hedge funds business headquartered in New York. As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Bacher worked on fund operations, analytics, and reporting for a portfolio of 33 funds.

Mr. Bacher graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University, earning a B.S. degree with a triple concentration in Finance, Management and Entrepreneurship.
