Ms. Peltzman joined Rialto in 2013 and currently serves as Director of Tax. She oversees the tax compliance and reporting functions for Rialto’s funds and management company. Ms. Peltzman has contributed to the formation and structuring of the various funds, and other investor related matters.
Prior to joining Rialto, Ms. Peltzman worked at Deloitte Tax, LLP where she served as Tax Manager and provided tax compliance and consulting services for multi-billion-dollar private equity firms and real estate companies.
Ms. Peltzman received a Master’s degree and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Parker joined Rialto in 2015 and is Managing Director and Head of the Equity Investment Management Group. He currently leads Rialto’s equity investing platform and serves on Rialto’s Executive Committee, Investment Committee and Inclusion & Diversity Network.
He brings a combined 35 years and 25 million square feet of direct CRE equity investment, development and operating expertise and relationships across all primary asset classes. Following 18 years with KDC and Sares-Regis Group, he founded ExTerra Realty Partners in 2005, a California-based operator that executed acquisitions, developments and corporate advisory assignments in California, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
In 2009, he co-founded Quattro Realty Group, an institutional advisory and investment group concentrating in CRE advisory services for institutional investor clients nationwide, primarily in connection with large, complex, mixed-use, urban in-fill developments nationwide. In 2014, Mike integrated his California-based Quattro team and book of business with Lennar’s westward expansion of its commercial property development line. Shortly after Rialto took over leadership of this business in 2015, Mike assumed oversight of Rialto’s direct equity investments through its own internal operating group and well-established third-party operators.
Mr. Parker attended San Diego State University and University of California at Berkeley, he is a LEED Accredited Professional and longstanding member in ICSC, NAIOP, ULI and USGBC.
Mr. Orban joined Rialto in 2015 and serves as a Managing Director on the Investment Management group, which includes structured credit and equity investing.
Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Orban spent nine years, most recently as a principal, at Glenmont Capital Management, a real estate private equity firm focused on opportunistic, middle market investments throughout the United States. At Glenmont, Mr. Orban was responsible for sourcing and executing opportunistic investments across all real estate asset types on behalf of the firm’s discretionary investment vehicles and completed more than $1 billion in total transactions. Prior to joining Glenmont, Mr. Orban was an assistant vice president at The Weitzman Group, a boutique real estate advisory firm that worked with private sector developers, pension and private equity funds, institutions, and government agencies. At The Weitzman Group, Mr. Orban focused on investment analysis and advisory on behalf of a large pension fund seeking to make direct investments in commercial real estate.
Mr. Orban received his B.S. from Cornell University with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate.
Mr. Olson joined Rialto in 2015 as senior advisor and served as Executive Vice President before taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. He is engaged in the investment management business and other strategic roles with a focus on overseeing Rialto’s process of sourcing, underwriting, executing and management of investments.
Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Olson was President of LNR Property LLC, where he headed the Real Estate Investing and Servicing Segment of Starwood Property Trust (NYSE: STWD). Prior to being appointed president in May 2013, Mr. Olson held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to LNR, Mr. Olson was a Co-founder and Managing Partner at AllBridge Investments, a boutique private equity firm which was sold to Ares Capital. Mr. Olson was formerly Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Dean Foods Company, one of the leading food and beverage companies in the United States. Prior to Dean Foods, Mr. Olson was a Managing Director at Bank One Capital Markets and its predecessor, First Chicago Capital Markets. Prior to Bank One Capital Markets, Mr. Olson was a product management officer for Gainer Bank Corporation.
Mr. Olson received his B.A. in Liberal Arts from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Mr. Michael joined Rialto in 2016 and currently serves as a Director in the Equity Investment Management group. Mr. Michael is involved in strategic expansion, investment, and portfolio management of Rialto’s equity platforms, with a key focus on growing Rialto’s multifamily and self-storage strategies. While at Rialto, Mr. Michael has been involved in both equity and credit investments across all property types.
Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Michael began his career working in Acquisition & Portfolio Management for Washington REIT, a publicly traded REIT based in Washington, DC. During his time there, Mr. Michael transacted on more than $1.4 billion of equity investments across multiple product types, including multifamily, office, retail, and industrial.
Mr. Michael earned his MBA and a B.S. in Business Administration at The University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School where he also interned with Crescent Communities developing multifamily communities across the Southeastern US.
Ms. Mazza joined Rialto in 2011 and currently serves as a Director in the Asset Management group. Ms. Mazza has over 20 years of experience in the real estate field. She is currently responsible for the non-performing CMBS REO assets (as part of Rialto Capital’s Special Servicing platform) in the western United States.
Prior to joining Rialto Capital, Ms. Mazza was an Associate with Odyssey Real Estate Capital, in Las Vegas, Nevada, with responsibility for acquisition and asset management for Odyssey’s portfolio of real estate investment properties, underwriting over $1B of assets for acquisition. In previous roles, Ms. Mazza worked in various capacities in real estate from accounting, finance, and property management.
Ms. Mazza graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.S. in Accounting. Ms. Mazza is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. She was a previous board member for CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and has been a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Mr. Mashioff joined Rialto Capital in 2010 and currently serves as a Director in the Credit Investment Management group. Prior to joining the credit team, Mr. Mashioff was a team lead on Rialto’s Asset Management team, where he focused on the restructuring and resolution of non-performing CMBS loans and the review of performing loan consent requests.
Throughout Mr. Mashioff’s career with Rialto, he played a key role in capital raising, building relationships with institutional investors globally, and was previously in roles of increasing responsibility on the Investment Management team, where he focused on distressed credit and equity investments. Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Mashioff worked at Psagot, Israel’s Largest Investment House, researching international equities for a long-short hedge fund strategy covering real estate, retail, and technology companies.
Mr. Mashioff graduated with a J.D. and M.B.A. from Emory University and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. During his time at Emory, Mr. Mashioff co-authored an article published in the Spring 2010 edition of the Real Estate Law Journal titled “Salvage Value in Real Property Valuation.” Mr. Mashioff graduated with a Master of Liberal Arts in the field of Government with a Certificate in International Relations from Harvard University. While at Harvard, he published his thesis titled “Awakening China: A Comparative Analysis of the Impact of Chinese Investment on the Governance of Emerging and Developing Market Countries” and was awarded the Public Leadership Credential from the John. F. Kennedy School of Government.
Mr. Martinelli joined Rialto in 2012 and is currently the Controller of the real estate debt vehicles managed by Rialto. Mr. Martinelli joined Rialto as the Vice President of Financial Reporting and managed the SEC and investment fund financial reporting function, which included coordinating SOX compliance required by Rialto’s previous parent company.
Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Martinelli served in various controllership and financial reporting roles in the manufacturing and real estate industries, most recently at International Oil Trading Company where he was Corporate Controller. Prior to that Mr. Martinelli was the Corporate Controller at Technical Olympic, USA. Mr. Martinelli was also the Director of Accounting for Parkson Corporation and was Supervisor of SEC Reporting for Lincoln Electric. Mr. Martinelli is a former senior auditor at Price Waterhouse LLC.
Mr. Martinelli is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration majoring in both Accounting and Finance. Mr. Martinelli is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Florida.
Mr. Mantz joined Rialto Capital Management, LLC in 2011 and serves as President. Mr. Mantz oversees the Investment Management and Capital Raising initiatives as part of his many roles.
Prior to Rialto, Mr. Mantz worked for Morgan Stanley from 1993 to 2011. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Mantz was the Head of Real Estate Investing from 2000 to 2005, co-head of the Real Estate Department in 2006, and served as Global Co-Head of Morgan Stanley’s Merchant Bank Group, which includes Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing Funds, the Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Fund and other Private Equity Funds from 2007 to 2009. Mr. Mantz was a member of Morgan Stanley’s Management Committee from 2008 to 2010.
Mr. Mantz earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated class valedictorian from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Among other affiliations, Mr. Mantz is on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Questrom School of Business and the Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
Mr. Lindner joined Rialto in March 2010 and currently serves as a Managing Director in the Credit Investment Management group focusing on all aspects of Rialto’s B-Piece platform. Since joining Rialto, he has been involved in the underwriting and acquisition of over $6B of CMBS bonds across 86 securitizations. Mr. Lindner has also been actively involved in several of Rialto’s separately managed accounts in the CMBS space and began at Rialto as part of its non-performing loan (NPL) platform, underwriting, acquiring, and working out loans from the FDIC and Regional Banks.
Prior to Rialto, Mr. Lindner worked at Anglo Irish Bank in the firm’s commercial real estate finance group in New York City, focused on originating, underwriting, structuring, and syndicating over $2 billion of loans secured by office, multifamily, retail, condominium, and industrial assets. Prior to Anglo Irish Bank, he worked at NAI New York City and also worked as a Legislative Aide for the New York State Senate.
Mr. Lindner holds a B.A. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech).
