Mr. George joined Rialto in 2021 and serves as a Director in the Credit Investment Management team. He is responsible for the origination, underwriting, structuring, and execution of commercial real estate debt investments, with a focus on direct lending, non-performing loans, and special situations. During his time at Rialto, he has been involved in both equity and credit investments across all property types.
Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. George spent three years at Piedmont Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: PDM), a vertically integrated office REIT, where he focused on acquisition, asset management and disposition activity across investments in the Southeast, Southwest, and Northeast markets.
Mr. George received a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from North Greenville University, where he was a member of the varsity baseball team.
Mr. Ellison joined Rialto in 2016 and currently serves as a Director in the Investment Management Property group. Mr. Ellison is responsible for all aspects of the real estate investment process, including sourcing, underwriting, execution, asset management and dispositions of Rialto’s equity investments.
Mr. Ellison earned an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance, and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, where he majored in Finance and Real Estate.
Mr. Connolly joined Rialto Capital Management in 2017 and currently serves as a Director in the Investment Management team. Mr. Connolly is responsible for leading all capital markets activity for the firm, including all credit balance sheet financings, syndications, and equity loan originations.
Mr. Connolly earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Wisconsin School of Business where he majored in Real Estate Finance and Urban Land Economics and Finance, Investment and Banking.
Mr. Rubin joined Rialto in 2018 and currently serves as a Director in the Credit Investment Management team. He is primarily responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of commercial real estate debt investments. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Rubin worked on the Capital Formation team at Rialto, and was involved in investor relations, capital raising and new product development for Rialto’s private equity funds and managed accounts.
Mr. Rubin earned a B.A. in Economics from Brown University.
Ms. Ehrlickman joined Rialto in 2024 and currently serves as a Director in the Credit Investment Management team. She is primarily responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of commercial real estate debt investments.
Prior to joining Rialto, she spent four years at H.I.G. Realty Partners, where she focused on the origination of whole loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments, and was responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, negotiation, closing, and asset management. Prior to H.I.G., she worked at J.P. Morgan in CMBS capital markets, securitization, and loan origination.
Ms. Ehrlickman graduated magna cum laude and earned a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
Ms. Ettinger joined Rialto in 2020 and currently serves as a Director in the Credit Investment Management team. In her current role, Ms. Ettinger focuses on the execution of performing and non-performing commercial real estate loan acquisitions, strategic credit investments, and bank solution efforts. While at Rialto, Ms. Ettinger has also been involved in the origination of both fixed and floating rate lending products targeted for CMBS, CLO, or balance sheet execution.
Prior to joining Rialto, Ms. Ettinger was a Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo in Dallas where she managed institutional investor, developer, private equity, and REIT clients with $1.5 billion to $3 billion in nationwide commercial real estate credit exposure.
Ms. Ettinger graduated from Southern Methodist University earning a B.B.A. in Finance from the Cox School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from the Dedman College of Arts and Sciences.
Blake Kurzenberger joined Rialto in 2011 and serves as a Director in the Real Estate Group at Rialto Capital Advisors, LLC. With over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry, he oversees a portfolio of non-performing loan REO and CMBS REO assets across the Midwest and Northeast, with a primary focus on New York City.
Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Kurzenberger held various roles working with non-performing residential loans and REO. He began his tenure at Rialto in the REO Department, which focused on the asset management and monetization of distressed real estate collateral within Rialto’s non-performing loan portfolio. Through roles of increasing responsibility and exposure to various stages of the real estate cycle, he has developed substantial expertise in the underwriting, asset management, and disposition of direct equity investments, joint ventures, and distressed REO across all property types – from full-service luxury hotels to manufactured housing communities. His skill set includes new loan acquisition underwriting and credit analysis, strategic management of institutional-grade REO, lease and sale negotiations, cash flow modeling, hotel operations, and CMBS compliance reporting.
Mr. Kurzenberger holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Business Management from Florida Atlantic University.
Mrs. Nusbaum joined Rialto in 2012 and currently serves as a Director on the Asset Management Team within the Performing Loan Consent Group. She has over 20 years of experience working in the real estate management and servicing industry. Prior to joining Rialto, Mrs. Nusbaum managed a team of professionals in the REO department at Quantum Servicing.
Mrs. Nusbaum graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Finance.
Mr. Friedman joined Rialto in 2019 and currently serves as a Director in the Performing Loan Consent team, specializing in Rialto’s CMBS loan portfolio. During his tenure at Rialto, he has led a performing loan consent team, managed specially serviced loan workouts, and has extensively underwritten commercial real estate debt across all asset types. He is also a co-chair of Rialto’s Internship Program.
Mr. Friedman graduated cum laude from the University of Miami, earning an M.S. in Finance and B.S.B.A in Finance.
Mr. Chakravarthula joined Rialto in 2021 and currently serves as Director of IT, Business Applications and Information Engineering. He leads the design, architecture, and delivery of Rialto’s business applications, operational analytics platforms, and AI-enabled information engineering systems that support Rialto’s investment management, asset management, and corporate functions.
Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Chakravarthula worked at Tata Consultancy Services, where he held several engineering and analytics roles supporting enterprise clients across financial services and industrial sectors. During this time, he led the development of enterprise data integrations, analytics platforms, and business applications for global organizations.
Mr. Chakravarthula earned B.S. in Technology in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada, India.
