Sr Analyst – CMBS Compliance & Reporting

SUMMARY

The CMBS Compliance Senior Analyst reports to the Head of Compliance.  The Compliance Senior Analyst will perform transactional and data review and analysis, test work and will execute continuous monitoring of activities, within the CMBS Compliance and Reporting functions, and other areas as assigned. CMBS Compliance & Reporting ensures the Company maintains alignment with contractual (PSA) requirements, internal policies and guidelines, applicable regulations or legislation relating to the CMBS Asset Management activities of the Company. The Compliance Senior Analyst will be an integral part of this mandate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Compliance Associates in the analysis and review of compliance approval memoranda for both specially serviced and performing loans.
  • Review and validate pool and loan data for entry in Rialto’s proprietary asset management system (RCAMS).
  • Assist in preparing ad hoc Compliance Reports.

 SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field is required.
  • Specialist certifications and/or graduate work is a plus.
  • At least 2 to 4 years relevant experience in one or more of the following the areas: commercial real estate asset management, loan workout, loan and portfolio management, CMBS, and/or audit experience in similar areas.
  • Experience in the CMBS or loan servicing industry is highly desirable.
  • Individual must possess strong organization skills and have a high level of attention to detail. To effectively perform the job candidate must demonstrate excellent follow-through skills, critical thinking and have excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Evening and/or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.
