The Investor Reporting and Fund Operations intern is a short-term (typically 8-week) employment opportunity at Rialto’s corporate headquarters in Miami, FL. The intern will mainly be responsible for assisting with the preparation and dissemination of monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reporting, as well as other regular reporting requests to investors and consultants. The intern will also be responsible for assisting with the preparing/maintaining internal management reports and may be required to complete ad hoc requests to assist in fundraising, financing and other efforts.
A successful candidate will have a strong interest in finance, accounting, real estate investments and private equity. The preferred candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with prior work experience in finance, real estate, real estate capital markets and/or investor relations and reporting. The candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment and is expected to gain a broad understanding of the firm’s investment vehicles and portfolio management strategies, as well as an understanding of the funds’ and the firm’s operations.
This is an in-person role at Rialto Capital’s headquarters in Downtown, Miami.
Key Responsibilities:
The Intern mirrors the daily activities of a full-time analyst at Rialto.
- Produce and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reports for both debt and equity real estate investment funds; the content of the reports includes fund activity, investment performance, and market outlook related to commercial mortgage-backed securities, collateralized loan obligations, commercial real estate and other investments
- Analyze data and generate data visualizations of portfolio allocations, special servicing trends, loan maturities, and projected cash distributions
- Complete quarterly investor and consultant information requests, as well as ad hoc investor requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses are provided
- Collaborate with other departments to understand business needs and implement strategies and automations to improve efficiencies and operational excellence
