SUMMARY
The Analyst supports the Director in managing all reporting requirements for Commercial Property and Hotel Managers, ensuring full compliance with Regulation AB and property management agreements. The role works closely with the Reporting team—including the Vice President of Reporting and the other Analyst—to provide support and serve as backup during absences. The ideal candidate will work across various commercial real estate asset classes, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Review financial statements, maintain the reporting calendar, and coordinate with the REO Asset Management team—including Directors, Asset Managers, Analysts, and cross-functional partners. Identify deficiencies in financial statements and bank reconciliation exceptions, ensuring timely communication and resolution with property management accountants.

Review and recompute bank reconciliations to verify compliance with Regulation AB.

Support the Director in quarterly property management audits by facilitating communication between the audit team and property managers, maintaining audit request logs, tracking submissions, and reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy. Communicate any identified deficiencies.

Distribute financial statement upload files to property managers and maintain supporting schedules for insurance and real estate taxes to ensure accurate preparation of quarterly REO OSAR reports.

Review Monthly Financial Upload files against monthly financial packages to ensure cash balances are properly reconciled.

Maintain and update accurate occupancy records for all REO assets on a quarterly basis within the asset management application.

Coordinate onboarding calls with property managers to introduce reporting processes and set expectations for monthly reporting.

Assist with tracking Comfort Letters with Master Servicers.

Perform additional duties as assigned and provide support on special projects.
Specifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, ideally in Accounting, Finance or related field.

0–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.

Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
