Sr. Associate – CMBS Compliance & Reporting


The Sr Associate will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of Cash Management on Specially Serviced loans in Rialto Capital Advisors’ portfolio. They will work closely with the Asset Management, Loan Servicing, and CMBS Investor Reporting teams. This is an outward facing role requiring strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.


•Interface with 3rd party banking partners, developing business relationships in accordance with financial services agreements, fee agreements and reporting.
•The Sr. Associate will need to learn Rialto’s proprietary Servicing system to perform the functions required of the role.
•The Sr. Associate will need to learn the Loan Servicing data structure, data extraction tools and the reconciliation process thereof to confirm the accuracy of the exercises and projects.
•Create and maintain documentation on processes and policies to ensure compliance with business requirements.
•Serve as backup for other team members for additional loan servicing activity.
•Work with asset managers to properly board modifications, forbearance agreements and other workout scenarios with the Master Servicer.
•Other additional projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned.


•Bachelor’s Degree required; Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred.
•Minimum of 3 years of related work experience required, with minimum of 1 year in loan operations or servicing environment. Experience in a paralegal role is a plus.
•Cash Management and/or Treasury experience is preferred, especially in the mortgage loan real estate industry.
•Excellent written and verbal communication as well as excellent analytical, research and reporting abilities.
•Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Evening and/or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.
