Senior Data Engineer


Rialto Management Group, LLC (“RMG”) has an opening available for the full time position of Senior Data Engineer in Miami, FL.  Rialto is a leading real estate investment, finance, and asset management firm with 250+ professionals in 12 locations across the U.S.  Key businesses include investment management, loan origination, asset management and special servicing.  The firm has over $13 billion of assets under management and nearly $6.5 billion of equity.


  • Architect modern IT solutions to Rialto’s businesses in an agile DevOps environment, on Azure cloud.
  • Design and develop models for Rialto’s business applications such as CMBS, Bond Cash Flows and Real Estate Assets.
  • Support Data related technologies such as databases, ETL, APIs, Integrations from various systems, and Azure Data Factory Pipelines for Rialto’s Investment Management & Asset Management Business lines.
  • Work in tandem with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Scrum Master, and provide guidance to the offshore team, enhancing the value of Rialto’s Information Exchange framework.
  • Provide feedback to the Director to continually improve the value delivery of the Data team to the business and support advanced analytics initiatives for a modern data platform.
  • Domestic travel required up to 5% of working time.



  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Processing, Civil Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Communications, Networking, Systems Analysis, Computer Programming, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or with relational database systems and SQL development tools.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a Master’s degree in stated field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or with relational database systems and SQL development tools.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in each of the following: working with BI/DW design including Star and Snowflake schemas and Fact/Dimensional modeling; utilizing data integration tools and methodologies including APIs, ETL, and methods of connectivity, file transfer and transformations between multiple systems; working with ERP systems such as Concur, NetSuite, or Investran; relational DBMS; visual Studio and .NET; developing using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines; and, azure, Azure Data Factory (V1&V2), Azure SQL, Function App & Logic App, Transact SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, and U-SQL.
  • Domestic travel required up to 5% of working time.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Evening and/or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.
