The Financial Analyst is a key role in the Finance function and is responsible for the analysis of the various business operations with a focus on value-generation, analysis, and process automation. The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and be responsible for providing support to the financial planning, forecasting, analysis processes and models on a consolidated and segmented level basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Support the annual budget, long-range financial plan, and monthly variance reporting processes.
•Help develop and maintain enhanced reporting while providing analysis of results with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Senior Management.
•Support the FP&A function with Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
•Responsible for the expenses forecast and for working with the different business units as a business partner to track, plan, and keep control of the different expense lines of the P&L.
•Responsible for timely submission of quarterly and monthly reforecast data.
•Assist with the preparation of financial analysis and presentation materials for internal and external reporting.
SPECIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required.
•Internship or some prior experience preferred.
•Proficiency in MS Excel is required. Knowledge of Hyperion, SmartView and Power Query is preferred.
•Excellent time management skills, work ethic, integrity, and eagerness to learn.
